Get Your Business Website Built in 7 Days, from CHF 49 a Month
You talk to us for 30 minutes. We write the texts, design the pages, host them in Switzerland and launch. No CHF 8,000 deposit, no blank “About us” page waiting for you, and no website that’s out of date a year later.
- We write the copy
- No setup fee
- Domain and content stay yours
Having a business website built in Switzerland usually costs CHF 4,000 to 15,000 up front at an agency, plus hosting, maintenance and an hourly rate for every change. With us you pay from CHF 49 a month (CHF 588 a year) for up to 10 pages, with copy, design, Swiss hosting and updates included. If your content is ready, a single-language site goes live in 7 days; a bilingual site, say English and German, takes 2 to 3 weeks because the translation is done properly.
Why most website projects take months instead of days
“Content supplied by client”
Everyone agreed, and three weeks later you’re staring at an empty “About us” page between meetings. It’s the most common reason projects stall.
A translation that reads like one
International companies need a German version, and a literal translation of English marketing copy reads strangely to a Zurich buyer.
Your project, behind five others
Agencies plan in sprints and account-manager meetings. A ten-page company site doesn’t need either.
We remove all three. We write the copy from our first call, so nothing waits on you. We write German and English from the same conversation, so each version sounds native. And we don’t start from zero: every site runs on the same maintained technical base, so your seven days go into your content and design, not into setting up a server.
How the 7 days actually work
Your total time: about an hour and a half, spread over one week.
| Day | What happens | Your time |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | A 30-minute consultation. We agree the pages and the search terms that matter for you. | 30 minutes |
| 2–3 | First draft of the home page and copy. You see a real page, not a PDF mock-up. | none |
| 4 | Your feedback, ideally on a quick call. Revisions are part of the plan. | about 1 hour |
| 5–6 | All pages, contact form, Google Search Console, Business Profile, privacy policy and cookie banner. | none |
| 7 | Live. After that, changes are CHF 50 per request. | none |
Timeline for the Essential plan with content ready. Bilingual sites take 2 to 3 weeks including translation.
What to have ready, and what you can skip
Helpful to have
- Your logo, if you have one
- 5 to 10 real photos of you, your team or your work
- Your prices or price ranges
- The questions customers ask you most often
Not needed
- A finished text for any page: we write it
- A sitemap or briefing document
- Hosting, a server or a WordPress licence
- Technical knowledge of any kind
That list of customer questions is worth more than any briefing form. It tells us what your website has to answer before someone picks up the phone.
Your four options for getting a website in Switzerland
Budget isn’t the deciding question. The deciding question is who updates the site in two years, when your prices, team or address change.
| Route | Upfront | Ongoing | Who maintains it? | Makes sense if … |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Website builder (Wix, Squarespace) | CHF 0–300 | CHF 15–40/month | You | you enjoy doing it and have the evenings |
| Freelancer | CHF 3,000–7,000 | Hosting extra, changes billed | One person, when available | you know a freelancer who will still be around in three years |
| Web agency (project) | CHF 6,000–12,000 | Maintenance contract plus CHF 120–180/hour | The agency, invoiced | you need a shop, bookings or custom features |
| Website subscription (Clear Design Experts) | CHF 0 | from CHF 49/month, all-in | Us, at no extra charge | you want a professional company site without managing the tech |
Price bands for a roughly 10-page business website in Switzerland, 2026, excl. VAT. Source: quotes clients bring us for comparison, summarised in our web design prices overview.
Swiss quotes look expensive mainly because of the hourly rate, not because of hidden margin. An honestly built ten-page site takes 40 to 80 hours; at CHF 140 an hour you land exactly in the agency band.
What it really costs over three years
Three-year total cost of a 10-page business website
Worked example in CHF, excl. VAT
Assumptions: freelancer CHF 5,000 build, hosting CHF 40/month, updates CHF 600/year, 4 hours of changes a year at CHF 130. Agency: project plus maintenance contract and hourly changes, worked through on our web design Zurich page. Subscription: Essential, 36 × CHF 49. *Builder excludes your own time.
The website builder wins on cash only as long as your own time is free. Price your hour at CHF 80, and about 11 hours over three years wipes out the advantage.

Our answers: domain and content are always yours. We write the copy with you. Changes cost a flat CHF 50 per request. We install updates. And if you leave after the 12-month minimum, you get your content back in full, plus a fair one-time offer to take the site with you if you want it.

Prefer hosting, updates and changes handled for you? Essential starts at CHF 49 a month.
Growth replaces an in-house web specialist for CHF 199 a month. You get an impressive, professional website in two languages, a new post every week in each language and automatic internal links to your services, all handled for you. One in-house web developer and copywriter costs at least CHF 5,700 a month in salary alone. With Growth you save CHF 5,501 a month, CHF 66,012 a year and over CHF 660,000 in 10 years.
CHF per month, excl. VAT. In-house figure: salary only for one web developer and copywriter, before employer contributions. Growth is billed annually (CHF 2,388/year).
When we're the wrong choice
Our plans are built for company websites that earn trust and bring enquiries. An online shop with hundreds of products, a booking system tied to your calendar or a client portal with logins needs a custom project, and we'll tell you so on the first call instead of squeezing you into a plan. Shops get an individual quote.
It's also not ideal if you want to own and run the site outright from day one with no ongoing cost. Then a one-off freelancer project is the more honest route, as long as you can handle the maintenance afterwards. For the full cost comparison, see web design prices in Switzerland; for how the monthly plan works after launch, see the website subscription.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to have a website built in Switzerland?
A Swiss agency typically charges CHF 6,000 to 12,000 for about 10 pages, a freelancer CHF 3,000 to 7,000, both plus hosting and maintenance. With us it's from CHF 49 a month (CHF 588 a year) including hosting and updates, with no setup fee. Content changes cost CHF 50 per request.
Can you build my site in English and German?
Yes. The Bilingual plan covers two languages with up to 10 pages each, professional translation and correct hreflang setup so Google shows the right version to each visitor. English with German, French or Italian all work.
Do I need to write the copy myself?
No. We write it from the consultation call. You check it for facts and tone. That's included in the plan.
Who owns the website?
Your domain, copy and images are yours at all times. The subscription covers design, build, hosting and maintenance. If you leave at the end of a plan year, you receive your content in full and can buy out the site if you want to.
Does the site meet Swiss data protection rules?
Every site launches with a cookie banner, a privacy policy structure and a setup that takes the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (nFADP) and GDPR into account. Hosting is in Switzerland.
Is the site ready for AI search?
Prices, address, opening hours and services sit on the page as text and structured data, not inside images, so ChatGPT and Google's AI answers can read and cite them.
